It's Time to Dine!
At the Chester County Chapter Annual Recognition and Scholarship Raffle Dinner
Join local Penn Staters on Monday, December 11th at The General Warren Inne. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with butlered hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. There will be a cash bar and business casual dress is preferred.
This year we are pleased to have Roger Williams as our Keynote Speaker. Roger served as Associate Vice President and Executive Director of the Penn State Alumni Association from 2003-2015. Roger will be speaking about his upcoming book, “Evan Pugh's Penn State: America's Model Agricultural College.”
Dinner includes the following menu selections:
Starter Course choice of one of the following:
- Snapper Turtle Soup w/dry sherry
- Chef's Featured Soup
- GF Organic Mesclun Salad w/tomatoes, red onion, goat cheese, toasted chick peas, caramelized shallot vinaigrette
- Classic Caesar Salad
Entrée Course choice of one of the following:
- Grilled North Atlantic Salmon Beluga lentils, organic baby carrots, tarragon dijon cream
- Vegan Entrée Squash noodles, heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, cannellini beans, basil oil
- Grilled 6oz Filet Mignon Herb roasted potatoes, haricot verts, sauce bordelaise
- Sautéed Crab Cake Chickpea spaetzle, sautéed rainbow chard, smoked tomato mustard
- Grilled Chicken Breast Roasted potatoes, broccoli, citrus beurre blanc
Desserts are a selection of General Warren Inne's Pastry Chef's Dessert Menu.

We will be collecting toy contributions that will benefit the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation. If you have any unopened, unwrapped toy donations that you would like to contribute to the Chester County Chapter Toys for Tots program, please bring those toys to the dinner. These donated toys will be distributed during the holiday months to children in need within the Chester County Area.
RSVPs are required and ALL reservations must have been received on or before Wednesday, December 6.
About Roger Williams
Roger L. Williams served as Associate Vice President and Executive Director of the Penn State Alumni Association, the world’s largest, from 2003-2015, as well as Affiliate Associate Professor in Penn State’s Higher Education Program. Previously, he was chief communications officer for the University of Arkansas, Georgetown University, and Penn State, where he earned his doctorate in higher education. In 1989, he won the Distinguished Dissertation Award of the Association for the Study of Higher Education. He is the author of The Origins of Federal Support for Higher Education: George W. Atherton and the Land-Grant College Movement (Penn State University Press, 1991). His latest book, Evan Pugh's Penn State: America's Model Agricultural College, will be published by Penn State University Press this winter.
